Verizon to Virgin Mobile?

i am a verizon prepaid customer and im sick of the cost for web and calling. i want to switch to virgin mobile for their $25 Beyond Talk Plan. Right now i have a Pantech Jest for Verizon. Im looking to get the LG Optimus V. my question is: Is it really worth the $200? is Virgin Mobile better than Verizon? Any bad or good experiences with Virgin Mobile. I need details
